Pro Armor racers Wimmer & Creamer Podium at Sunset Ridge ATV MX National

by on 21/05/10 at 8:33 am

Pro Armor’s Dustin Wimmer may not have won the overall at Round 4 in Walnut, Illinois but he did regain the lead in the race for the Championship.

Definitely a great race this past weekend with Dustin Wimmer and Josh Creamer finishing on the podium yet again with a 2nd and 3rd place respectively at Sunset Ridge in Walnut, Illinois.  Wimmer finished moto one in 3rd place after starting out in 6th place while Creamer took 2nd.  Moto two saw Wimmer with a better start and a 1st place while Creamer didn’t fare as well due to unfortunately pulling his tether on the kill switch in the air off a jump.  He restarted and charged hard to end up with a 5th place and on the podium for the overall.

Other notables were Greg Gee and Nick Denoble both riding for team Pro Armor.  Both racers left Sunset Ridge with their best overall of the season with a 6th place for Greg and 7th place overall for Nick leaving these two competitors with just 2 points separating them to stay in the top ten.

Round 5 of the ATV MX Nationals heads to Steel City in Delmont, Pennsylvania with Creamer trailing Wimmer by just 5 points.
