Jarrett and Pitts Take Home Wins in Round Two of the Parts Unlimited OMA Nationals

Moose Racing was well represented atop the podium this past weekend at the Parts Unlimited OMA Nationals as team riders Jimmy Jarrett and John Pitts took home wins in the pro motorcycle and ATV classes, respectively.
Hanging Limb, Tenn., halfway between Nashville and Knoxville, was the site of the second round of the series, dubbed the Hangman XC. Saturday’s ATV race saw Pitts nab the holeshot and begin putting time between himself and his rivals. Pitts was on point all day and led every inch of the race from start to finish to claim his first OMA win of 2010.
After taking the checkered flag, Pitts commented, “It felt great to get a win. It was the first OMA of the season for me, and a great start to the season.”
After a muddy and technical course on Saturday, the pro motorcycle racers were greeted with similar conditions on Sunday. The challenging conditions would prove to be no match for the Moose Racing duo of Jimmy Jarrett and Scott Watkins as the two Kawasaki riders took home first and second place, respectively.
Coming in just off the overall podium was Moose Racing amateur star, Jordan Ashburn who took home a well-deserved fourth place.
Round three of the Parts Unlimited OMA Nationals takes place later this month on May 29 – 30 in Rio Grande, Ohio.
