Maxxis to Sponsor Washington Nationals

Expanding its already strong support of professional sports, Maxxis has signed a deal to sponsor the Washington Nationals Major League Baseball team for the 2010 regular season.

Under the terms of the agreement, Maxxis’ signage will appear behind home plate for half an inning at every home game. The Nationals season begins April 5 with a game against the Philadelphia Phillies at Nationals Park.

Maxxis’ international headquarters is based in Taiwan, home of new Nationals Pitcher Chien-Ming Wang.

Maxxis is proud to sponsor the Washington Nationals and looks forward to cheering them on to a winning season.

About the Washington Nationals Baseball Club
The Washington Nationals Baseball Club, owned by the Washington, D.C.-based Lerner Family, was relocated to the District in 2005 from Montreal. The team competes in Major League Baseball’s National League East. The Nationals play 81 home games each season at Nationals Park, the ‘Home of the National Pastime in the Nation’s Capital,’ located in Southeast Washington.
