SACRAMENTO Calif, Feb. 1, 2010 – Factory UTV introduces full UHMW protection for the Polaris RZR 4. The industry pioneers in UHMW UTV protection are at it again with a full package for the newly introduced Polaris RZR 4. UHMW is a super slick super tough skid plate material.
Significantly lighter than aluminum, UHMW is a tough wear resistant plastic that combines an incredibly low coefficient of friction with outstanding impact strength that will outwear carbon steel 10 to 1. Unlike aluminum, UHMW also has memory, meaning after a big impact hits aluminum will bend, gouge and break while UHMW maintains it’s original shape.
The skids plates are available in 3/8 inch or ultra tough 1/2 inch thickness and come standard with a fuel tank protector. A-Arm Guards come in 3/8 thickness and protect those expensive long travel arms from damage. Protect your investment today.
