Anderson’s two podiums has him leading series

Minneapolis, Minn., (6/3/2009) – The RANGER RZR S has added another series lead to its belt, Ricky Johnson’s TORC Short Course Series, which kicked off its first two rounds of racing at Perris Auto Speedway, in Perris, Calif.

RJ Anderson got the hole shot in the Friday race and led for more than half the race, finishing second. He also took second in the Saturday race which netted him the points lead after two rounds.

My RANGER RZR S handles so well, and we are dialing it in, so can take the top podium spot at the at the next TORC race,” said Anderson. “I am happy to come out of the first two rounds with the series points lead.”  

The race will air on ABC this Sunday June 7, at 5 pm (Eastern). The next TORC Side-by-Side Race is at Perris Auto Speedway, on August 29.
